Young People
Outcomes
HiOPP provides on average a two year placement duration aimed at helping young people to achieve their objectives, so to become productive adults, leading an independent proactive life. We will work closely with agencies to support any next steps.
Our strength is creating relationships, and through these our hope is to achieve good outcomes for young people. Childhood experiences and the impact of such can be deliberating, however staff at HiOPP will champion young people to make progress sensitively with full support. Our aim is to assist young people in all areas, including:
- Helping to develop skills for independence including, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and other activities of daily living.
- Engaging in education and learning and achieving their best
- A range of hobbies and interests
- Good mental and emotional health
- Being healthy, active with good self-care hygiene
- Ensuring safety and making safe choices
- Developing trusting relationships with adult and other young people
At HiOPP we believe that the success of our service in delivering outcomes will be in clearly assessing and identifying the needs of the young person, and risk assessments. Experienced empathetic, and supportive staff have the skills and confidence to strengthen relationships with young people.
